COME TO FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS ZAGREB
Mission:
Our long-standing partner “Zagreb Tourist Board” is the official tourism organization of the Croatian capital.
The task in Berlin 2023 was to use artistic impressions to show visitors the fascination of Zagreb and to recommend a trip to beautiful Croatia.
The partnership with Zagreb and the artistic exchange with the Festival of Lights Berlin has developed so positively over the years that the city of Zagreb has been presenting its own Festival of Lights highlight since 2017.
Since 2017, this Festival of Lights Zagreb has been the start of the local event season and part of the “Festival of Lights International Network”. The popular event in Zagreb has expanded to more than 30 locations in the upper and lower city and has established itself as a distinctive event alongside the Zagreb Advent, the Christmas market.
Implementation:
The Festival of Lights team produced a fascinating 3D video mapping show at the Hotel de Rome on Bebelplatz, presenting beautiful impressions of the Croatian capital.
To bring the love for the city of Zagreb even closer to the approximately 3 million visitors, Zagreb sponsored the prize for first place in the popular photo competition: a trip for two to the Festival of Lights in Zagreb in spring 2024.
Success: Brand mission accomplished!
Over 3 million people watched the show live at Bebelplatz. Countless social media posts and photos reflected this success.
