The current spring collection of the fashion label Wunderkind put on a completely new light at the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS 2011. An unprecedented visual "fashion show" created a worldwide recognition value and helped turn the Wunderkind brand into a global brand.
Idea: The most extraordinary fashion show in the world
At the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS the Berlin Cathedral was wrapped in new clothes by German designer Wolfgang Joop. Selected designs by his fashion label Wunderkind transformed the historic building into a special kind of fashion event. 3D pictures were taken and spread around the world.
Implementation: Huge, gigantically chic
The FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS team has carefully selected the appropriate designs of the spring collection and tailored them to the "figure" of the cathedral. Several "fittings" were needed until everything perfect. The huge fashion show was shown around 300 times on the famous Berlin landmark during the festival. Including the Wunderkind logo.

The fashion show on the Berlin Cathedral brought the Festival of Lights and the label Wunderkind a breakthrough. The show made it to the international TV news, even in China the event was reported on. In addition, there were countless print and online articles, photos and videos that reached millions of fashion friends.
